“It’ll be over by Christmas”, the soldiers used to say

But Dad, we never used to celebrate Christmas, did we?

Some wars don’t end, some battles can’t be won

All we can do is rise with the sun

And face the shadows, one more time

Muster what strength we have, fight another day

 

It’s OK Dad, I understand why you do what you do

Time made me hear everything you could never say

It’s a fearful thing, living under this cold sky

Every morning the sun opens its eye

It’s a long race when you’re running scared

We might finish last, but we’ve got to see this thing through

 

Don’t worry Dad, you won’t always have to fight

Someday soon you’ll say your last goodnight

Your eyes will be opened,

and pure light will banish all darkness from that eternal land

But before you go, reach out and touch my hand

And I’ll step in and box with the shadows here below

They’ll assume it’s you as they deliver each blow

Cheer me on from beyond the stars, I’ve got many miles to go.

Tout est à propos de Dieu. L'essentiel, c'est l'amour.

Nous avons perdu quelque chose de génial. Notre révérence et notre amour pour Dieu. Nous vivons dans une société où nous pouvons nous débarrasser de Dieu.

Mais pouvons-nous vraiment le faire? Il détient toujours toutes les clés de notre vie. Le succès, la santé, la sagesse et l'imagination. Nous ne pouvons rien faire sans Lui.

Nous devons prier chaque jour pour voir les choses simples que nous pouvons faire. Nous devons nous assurer qu'Il fait vraiment partie de nos vies.

Il s'agit toujours de notre Dieu et de ce qu'il fait encore pour nous tous les jours. Son amour pour nous transcende les péchés.

Les soleils brille tous les jours. Les planètes dans leur orbites. La gravité fonctionne toujours pour nous garder sur terre. Les plantes poussent encore quand nous les soignons. C'est la même chose quand il nous aide.

Nous avons encore besoin de faire des choses pour maintenir notre santé. Nous devons faire de l'exercice. Manger des aliments sains. Nous devons exercer notre cerveau. Nous devons exercer notre compassion.
Nous devons surveiller notre ego. Nous devons sacrifier notre faim. Jeûner de temps à autre. Priez tous les jours. Nous devons exercer nos corps quotidiennement.

Nous devons garder notre humilité car Dieu est tellement plus grand que nous. Dieu vs. les fourmis. Nous ne sommes que des images. Nous ne sommes pas Dieu.
Pouvez-vous garder les planètes en orbite? Pouvez-vous créer un élément? Pouvez-vous atteindre la perfection corporelle? La réponse est non.

La beauté, l'art et la théologie nous dépassent, mais nous pouvons essayer d'atteindre au moins ce que Dieu peut faire. L'amour de Dieu est d'essayer d'être comme lui. Grands saints, nous pouvons devenir comme eux dans les traits qu'ils montrent leurs échecs et leurs triomphes. Nous pouvons imiter leur bonté.

Chérubin: une créature mythique représentant une garde d'un roi. Cela représente le pouvoir. Être respectueux. Vous vous approchez de Dieu. Vous êtes petit et indigne d'être ici. Rappelez-vous que vous êtes un pécheur et que vous devez être purifié.

Ils ont le pouvoir de voler parce que vous n'avez pas d'ailes. Tu ne peux pas voler. Habituellement représentés comme des taureaux ou des lions.
Griffin est une autre créature mythique qui garde l'or. Sphinx en Egypte. Seraphim dans la bible. Gardes du paradis dans la Genèse.
Les taureaux à tête humaine qui ont la barbe ont aussi des ailes en Babylonie.

Beaucoup de versions avec différentes quantités d'ailes. L'homme pour la sagesse, l'aigle pour la liberté, le taureau pour le pouvoir, et le lion pour imbattable, plus de courage qu'un roi.

Parfois, deux têtes ou quatre symboles de têtes pour ce qu'ils représentent. Corps de lion ou de taureau. Tous ont le pouvoir de voler.
Créatures au service de Dieu. Dans la Bible, il est mentionné qu'ils chantent tout le temps en louangeant Dieu.

Au sommet de l'arche de l'alliance. Chérubins. Propitiatoire (lieu de miséricorde) au milieu.
L'oracle. À l'intérieur de l'arche. Le plan pour l'homme les Dix Commandements. Sur des tablettes de pierre. Le reste tout en or pour représenter la richesse incalculable.

Menorah: les bougies hébraïques pour purifier un temple souillé. Le feu et l'huile d'olive. Certains disent qu'ils représentent Jésus. Ça me rappelle l'échelle au paradis. Tout en or.
Dieu mérite notre meilleur. Le plus précieux est l'or. La forme du porte-bougie. Symbole du peuple juif. Représente la Bible. Cela ressemble à l'univers. Représente Jésus.

Ainsi, l'or purifie l'air, l'encens pour plaire aux sens car la mort n'est jamais près de Dieu. La lumière de la vie éternelle tout comme la parole de Jésus éclaire nos cœurs. Encens pour éloigner l'odeur de la mort.

Tous dans l'amour de Dieu. Il le mérite tous les jours.
Priez pour les autres car Dieu a créé des créatures parfaites ... l'homme. Libre arbitre. Mais aimé tout de même avec l'envie des anges. Nous pouvons être très proches de Dieu et de Sa volonté. C'est écrit dans notre ADN-même. Car Dieu est notre créateur.

Nous pouvons aimer Dieu en retour. Amen.

It’s all about God. It’s all about love.

We lost something great. Our reverence and love for God. We live in a society were we can do away with God.

But can we really? He still holds all the keys to our life. Success, health, wisdom and imagination. We can’t do a single thing without Him.

We need to pray every day for the simple things we can do. We need to see He is very much a part of our lives.

It's still all about our God and how much He still does for us daily. His love for us transcends all of our sins.

The suns shines daily. The planets in their orbit. The gravity still works to keep us on earth. The plants still grow when we tend to them. That is the thing even when he helps us.

We still need to do stuff to maintain our health. We need to exercise. Eat healthy food. We need to exercise our brains. We need to exercise our compassion. 
We need to keep our ego in check. We need to sacrifice our hunger. Fast once in awhile. Pray daily. We need to exercise our bodies daily.

We need to keep our humility for God is so much greater than us. God vs ants. We are only images. We are not God.
Can you keep planets in orbit? Can you create an element? Can you make the body more perfect than its? The answer is no.

Beauty, art and theology are beyond us but we can try to reach the very least of what God can do. Love of God is to try and be like him. Great saints we can become like them in traits they show their failures and triumphs. We can emulate their goodness.

Cherubim a mythical creature representing a guard to a king. That represents power. Be respectful. You are coming close to God. You are small and unworthy to be here. Remind you that you are a sinner and need to be cleansed.

They have the power of flight because you have no wings. You cannot fly. Usually represented as bulls or lions.
Griffin is another mythical creature that guards gold. Sphinx in Egypt. Seraphim in bible. Guards of paradise in Genesis.
Bulls with human heads that have beards also have wings in Babylonia.

Many versions with different amount of wings. Man for wisdom, eagle for freedom, bull for power, and lion for unbeatable, plus courage of a king.

Sometimes two heads or four symbols of heads for what they represent. Body of lion or bull. All have power of flight.
Creatures in service of God. In the Bible it mentions they sing all the time praising the glory of God.

On top of the ark of covenant. Cherubim. Mercy seat in the middle.
The oracle. Inside the ark. The plan for man the Ten Commandments. On stone tablets. The rest all in gold to represent untold wealth.

Menorah the Hebrew candles to cleanse a defiled temple. The fire and olive oil. Some say represents Jesus. Reminds me of the ladder to heaven. All in gold.
God deserves our best. Most valuable is gold. The shape of the candle holder. Symbol of Jewish people. Represents the Bible. It resembles the universe. Represents Jesus.

So gold is cleansing the air, incense to please the senses for death is never near God. The light of eternal life just as Jesus' word lights our hearts. Incense to keep the smell of death away.

All in love of God. He deserves it daily.
Pray for others for God has made perfect creatures ...man. Free will. But loved all the same with the envy of angels. We can be very close to God and His will. It is written in our very DNA. For God is our creator. 

We can love God back. Amen.

Got to Know (a poem)

I got to know what the truth is. / Can't believe what the liar says. / Got to seek till I find. / Because my faith is not blind. / Got to know what the truth is. Got to know what the truth is. Got to know what the truth is. Got to know what the truth is. "What is the truth?", Pilate asked. / Jesus saw clearly through his mask. / Washed hands, not guilty. / “I’m doing good morally.” What hypocrisy. / Christ still paid, with his life, our penalty. / Exchanging his clean cloths of royalty / for our worn out rags that were filthy. / Man, we deserve nothing from God surely. / But God loved his own from the beginning. / Foreknowing that mankind would go on sinning. / The void we may try filling / through our works will give us an unsatisfying ending. / But thank God for his grace and mercy. / He who sent his Son for our saving. / Promising through himself life everlasting. / The truth, you are searching ? Good. Complete the task / by seeking reality in the Bible, it states facts.

Love starts with God and never with us; / out of good pleasure He created us. / Love...many have tried to define it / and many have failed by defiling it. / To go to God, Jesus is the way / Christ's death on the cross was put on display fully expressing God's agâpé . / Love is not based on what we've done, / but mainly upon who God is. / Many may think he's brute, merciless. / Others may think he's harmless. / But if we take what the Bible says / and push away what the world says, / with the help of the Spi-rit we will know who the Lord is. / God is holy, he casts out iniquity. / God is just- he conveys equity. / God is good – concentrate on that concept correctly and concretely. / 

Got to do what the Lord says. / Got to do what the Lord says... Remain in God's love through obedience and do the two greatest commandments. / Got to do what the Lord says. / Got to do what the Lord says. / Got to do what the Lord says. / Got to do what the Lord says. Jesus learned obedience through suffering. / So in that case suffering is good for our learning. / Naturally we hate pain. / Yet in it there is gain. / If our homes are built on the Rock we can surely sustain. / Following Christ is never vain. / Eternal life through him we obtain. / Angels on earth we are to entertain. / As we wait for our King's return and royal reign / This world may drive us insane. / Yet we have a peace in Christ that will keeps us secure and sane. / We have no need to complain. / But to proclaim the Gospel faithfully / and not simply base it on what we think about it subjectively. / What is the secret of being happy? / To trust and obey. / For there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Lost Souls (a poem)

I am on my knees wondering
Are we your servants oh God?
Lord they lost their way like a dove.

We can only imagine you God
don't blame them Lord
everywhere I go is darkness
we don't belong no more in sadness.

Saints must rest in the light
brightly shining that evil sight leaves my eyes
when I love you God nothing else matters
bring back the wondering sighs.

Backwards spiritually, the lost
Father welcomes our exhausted return
the door was always open
we will no longer burn.

Are we afraid of our own love?
our path no longer ours
our life belongs above
we no longer make scars.

Love is the way cause you are love.

Je suis à genoux me demandant
Sommes-nous tes serviteurs oh mon Dieu?
Seigneur, ils ont perdu le chemin comme une colombe.

Nous pouvons seulement t'imaginer Dieu
ne les blâme pas Seigneur
partout où je vais c'est l'obscurité
nous n'appartenons plus à la tristesse.

Les saints doivent se reposer dans la lumière
gloire resplendissante, que le mal n'atteigne plus mes yeux

Le Père a accueilli notre retour épuisé

Avons-nous peur de notre propre amour?
notre chemin n'est plus le nôtre
notre vie appartient à l'au-delà 
nous ne faisons plus de cicatrices.

L'amour est la voie parce que tu es amour.
